Wi-Net Telecoms Sdn Bhd (Winet) is a licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) having both Network Facility Provider (NFP/I/2000/66) and Network Service Provider (NSP/I/2000/72) licenses issued by Ministry of Information and Communication (now known as Ministry of Information Communication & Culture).

Introduction
Winet Broadband is currently spearheaded by Lee Wai Tuck, Group Chief Executive Officer / Executive Director.
We are committed to invest RM1 billion over the next five years to roll out our wireless broadband services and we are also the first ISP to sign with Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) under the latter’s high speed broadband services (HSBB) project on a wholesale Ethernet basis.
Currently our broadband service is available at more than 100 locations. We will expand our wireless broadband service to more than 2,000 locations nationwide by end of 2011 and to reach about 4,500 locations in the next five years.
Our focus is mostly on the retail sector and targets one million customers in the next three years.
Pekan Digital 1 Malaysia which officiated by our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak recently has been empowered with free wifi internet access by Winet. With this service, internet users in Pekan can now access to internet without payment hassle.
Winet is supporting our government’s initiative to achieve 50% household internet penetration rate by end of 2010.
